My so called friends...

Besides the fact that they are all human beings, my friends are a group of people who had shared a part of their lives with me. I guess I wouldn't be who I’ am now if I never met them. Some of them listen to the same kind of music as I do, some have the same distorted mind as I have. Some of them really like to skip school and do crazy stuffs. Most of the times we talk about computer games, cartoons and Animes, our love lives, sex, anything. During our free time, we do nothing but drink smoke and laugh, and sometimes we like exchanging thoughts of how life is unfair for people like us. I’ve managed to be in a circle where we share something in common, something we don’t really know, but still all of us are unique. All of us are different.

What's with my name?

My name is Diobannie Bangkas. My father gave me this name; it originated from his own name. DIO-is from Dionisio; BAN-is from Bangkas; and he got NIE is from the Chinese word of YOU which is NI, combined with the word DIE. I’m just joking. I don’t really now where the last part of my name came from. It’s a short name but I find it nice and unique, especially it’s spelling

Why I chose psychology as my course

I had chosen this course because I really like the study of a person’s behavior. I like topics that are involved with how our minds work and the diseases that affect it. Topics that deal with a person’s mental behavior and mental disorders are the things that made me pick this course. This course also helps me improve my mental hygiene. It helps me understand how genetic, chemical, emotional and environmental factors affect how a human brain works. But the most important reason of why I’ve picked this course is because I wanted to become a psychiatrist.
